JU3-21: No Society That Lives Outside Of The Principles Of Torah Will Survive For Long

As I’ve already pointed out more than a couple of times, we right now as I type these words are reliving the period of the Judges.

In fact, the resemblance is downright scary if you ask me.

All you have to do is look at what has happened in the West over the past couple of years.

The United States of America is the leader of the free world but I gotta tell you, the world is beginning to doubt just how stable that leadership is these days.

As an American myself, I’m proud to have been born and raised in a country that has created not only the freest but the richest and most technologically advanced society mankind has ever seen.

Yeah man, I know, we’re a young country but think of names like Thomas Edison and the Wright Brothers for example.

We gave the world the light bulb and aircraft flight.

Heck, we even gave the world the internet.

It was created by two research teams at UCLA and Stanford.

America was founded on a form of self-rule known as a democracy driven by an economic system we call “capitalism”.

And ironically, this system was born out of America’s rebellion against a king.

Because we did not want to be serfs in a monarchy.

It should also be noted it was Bible believing Christians who first came to America in search of freedom of religious expression.

Although not pure Judaism by any means, the bedrock of American culture is the Bible.

But unfortunately, the Biblical principles this nation was founded have withered away drastically.

I should also mention the United States is not the first nation to attempt self-rule.

Rome came first.

That’s right, Rome was actually a kind of primitive self-ruling democracy.

However, because Rome had an emperor, their system was far from what modern folks would consider a democracy today.

Here’s the bottomline: 

Every society of every type of government has in due time failed.

And mark my words, this will include the United States as it heads towards an ungodly socialist type of government (as much as it hurts me to say this).

Why can I say this with such confidence?

Because no country or society that disobeys God and His principles in the Torah will survive for very long.

If history has taught us anything, it is this fact.

And this is the big theme of the Book of Judges.

As the West today races towards a secular humanistic style of government that mocks God and the Bible, the end result is already a forgone conclusion.

In fact that conclusion is written right here in the Book of Judges.

As I told you yesterday, the world is desperately seeking for a king whether it realizes it or not.

People everywhere sense we’re heading for a global breakdown that’s gonna eventually lead to a World War III

And you know what?

They’re right.

That’s why the world is seeking a king.

Unfortunately, the European style of socialism that America is fast trying to adopt ain’t gonna cut it.

In fact, if anything, it’s going to hasten the world’s demise.

There’s only one solution.

And that solution is the ONE true God and living according to his ONE set of rules given in His ONE Holy Book.
