Have you ever heard your pastor or preacher saying something like this?
“If you’ve been saved, you no longer have to worry about being judged and punished for your sin”.
I shudder when I hear those words.
Because if that’s true, it means the God who claims He never changes has indeed changed.
This idea that we never have to worry about being disciplined by God once we’ve obtained our salvation insurance through faith in Christ is just one of the many aberrant doctrines promoted by the gentile church.
I’ve gotta step my foot down here folks and let you know this idea that your salvation equals a license to sin without consequence is nowhere to be found in either the “Old” or New Testament.
In fact, I’m astonished such a doctrine that poses such a danger to the body of believers ever came about in the first place.
Here’s the thing.
The children of Israel during the time of Judges had adopted this very belief system.
They thought to themselves…
…“We’re God’s Chosen people and we’ve been given rest in the Promised Land.”
“Therefore, we don’t ever have to worry about God getting angry and judging us again like how He did with our ancestors in the wilderness”.
“Right?”.
Actually, wrong.
VERY WRONG.
These naive Israelites were about to find out that God DOES react and sometimes very violently to any affronts to His Holiness.
Recall what I’ve been harping on about God’s holiness from the very beginning.
The Lord will literally destroy all of Creation if He has to in order to protect His holiness.
If He didn’t, we could not consider the God we worship to be a holy God.
That is how unrivaled His purity and righteousness is.
The Lord demands unwavering perfection and respect for His Holiness from anyone who would dare to call upon Him for salvation.
Erlene Talbott says
This is a vital message. I wish everybody could understand and “get under” this.

I guess in due time everyone will have to understand and get this. Be blessed and Shalom!
Jerry R. says
If you have God’s Spirit within, “Once Saved, Always saved” applies.
9But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.) 10And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God. 11The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
15If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever— 17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you.
RANDY A MITCHELL says
I don’t think this proves anything. Whom the Lord loves He chastens and scourges every son that He receives. Of course, once saved, always saved! What father would cast off a child for disobedience? None. But what father would take away one’s inheritance for disobedience? All. Judgment is not a salvation issue. You can’t abort what has already been born (again). Judgment is about correcting our path back to a righteous one. It is not about ignoring sin. We reap what we sow, but thank Yah all the judgments for our sins were placed upon him who knew no sin!
