When we buy into the premise that God has changed or replaced Laws and commands that He once declared are forever we are standing on very unstable theological ground.
Or as Yeshua put it, we are building our house on shifting sand instead of solid rock.
That’s precisely what we’re doing when we say the “Old” Testament has been replaced by the New Testament.
Really think hard about just how ridiculous this premise is.
We’re saying at one point in history, Hashem gave us His Torah, declared it not only perfect but also declared it was perfectly doable.
Yet when Messiah arrived, somehow the Law became faulty and something NOT to be obeyed.
Again, this notion contradicts Messiah’s own words as recorded in the Book of Matthew.
“Think not that I am come to destroy
the law, or the prophets:
I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
For verily I say unto you,
Till heaven and earth pass,
one jot or one tittle
shall in no wise pass from the law,
till all be fulfilled.”
-Matthew 5:17-18
It’s this same demonic doctrine that asserts…
…”although the Lord has declared the Sabbath to be a permanent observance in His Torah…
…somehow this command has been reversed in the New Testament through Paul”.
Christians go hog wild in misinterpreting Paul thinking he really said that since the Sabbath is all about “elemental spirits”, it has now been discarded and replaced by Sunday.
And if you think about it, that’s exactly what Mormonism has done.
They’ve simply travelled down the logical path established by a false and anti-Semitic Christian theology that says the law has been done away with.
If it’s possible for God to be whimsical as all hell and change His mind at a moment’s notice, then who cares if the Mormon Church abolishes or makes changes to the New Testament?!
Because that’s exactly what they’ve done.
They’ve declared the apostolic testimonies recorded in the NT to be defective and then they went ahead and produced a “superior” prophet and “better” New Testament.
Obviously, I don’t buy the crap mainstream Christianity is peddling for one second.
Their doctrine has utterly ruined the church beyond disrepair and now it’s time for Israel to pick up the pieces.
Hashem has not replaced the old with the new anymore than Leviticus has replaced the book of Numbers.
God’s Word given at Sinai was PERFECT and remains PERFECT.
The Torah as revealed to Moses and then later to over 3 million Hebrews is the unshakeable foundation for the whole Word of the Lord.
The Torah is where God’s divine patterns are established and will remain intact for all eternity (or at least until the heavens and earth passes away and that hasn’t happened yet).
The New Testament simply follows the God patterns established in the “Old” Testament.
The “Old” Testament also established the proper credentials of the Messiah of Israel.
That’s why we can know with complete confidence that Yeshua of Nazareth is indeed the Messiah of Israel!
