The last time we met, we talked about the so-called 10 lost tribes of Israel and posed the question…
…”are they really lost?”
To continue this topic, let’s read Ezekiel Chapter 37.
You’ve just read about what is known today as the two sticks prophecy.
It says that in the last days, Ephraim (the 10 lost tribes) will rejoin Judah and the two houses of Israel will once again become one whole house of Israel.
I can’t think of anything more inspiring.
However, it seems like we have a big problem.
If Ephraim has mixed with the gentiles to the point where they have completely lost their identity, how in the world is God going to rejoin them together?
I mean we’re talking about millions of folks walking around today who have know idea they have ancestral roots to the tribe of Ephraim.
Heck, it could be you and it could be me.
In my case, deep down inside I suspect this may be true.
How else can one explain my crazy fascination with the Torah and Israel?
There’s something in my genes and in my soul that longs for Israel like a starving man in the desert longs for food and water but I can’t prove anything.
However, we know who the southern kingdom of Judah is today.
They are the Jews.
That’s right.
The Jews of today are the leftover remnant from the tribe of Judah since the time of Babylon.
And in recent years another key and prophetic discovery has been made.
Remnants of each of the 10 tribes that made up the Northern Kingdom of Ephraim have been found.
These remnants remain intact and have maintained their Israelite heritage over the centuries.
The biggest remnant discovered comes from the tribe of Manasseh with a population close to about 2 million people.
This has posed a serious conundrum to the current Israeli government because politically speaking Israel is officially a Jewish nation…
…meaning that the Jews today, genetically and tribally, come from the tribe of Judah.
So what is the current Israeli government to do with the millions of people from the 10 lost tribes who have resurfaced and want to return to the Holy Land to be reunited with their Jewish brothers?
The problem the government faces is that while the 10 tribes are obviously Israelites or Hebrews, they are NOT Jews.
In other words, they are NOT descended from the Tribe of Judah.
They are descendants from the Kingdom of Ephraim who were dispersed by the Assyrian Empire.
Another problem is that over the centuries a tradition arose stating that today’s Jews are the only ones left from the original ancient Israel.
The rediscovery of the remnants of these 10 tribes has been the cause for much confusion among the world’s Jewish communities today.
They just don’t know how to deal with this new reality.
Yet they can’t ignore it because this 2nd house of Israel are indeed their Hebrew brothers.
As a result, the Israeli government is allowing this remnant to return to Israel.
This is prophecy in the making folks.
And while this is happening, the gentile church remains completely in the dark that the two sticks prophecy written about in Ezekiel 37 has been going on for quite some time.

Your understanding is also my understanding. This is truth and the root of understanding who we are as part of Israel.

Amen to that!

I’m curious about 12 tribes in Revelation chapter 7:5-8. 2 tribes were left out (Ephraim and Dan). It may be because their role led Israel into idolatries. Does that means Dan and Ephraim are no longer exist today?
It’s interesting you mentioned 2 million of Manasseh living today. Joseph’s name was added to 12 tribes in Revelation. Joseph had only 2 sons, Manasseh and Ephraim so Manasseh would get double “sealed”.
