Do you wanna know what the greatest damage the church has ever done to the Kingdom of God?
I’m talking about a damage that continues on to this day and is in fact woven into the doctrines of the modern institutional gentile church.
Here’s what I’m talking about.
When Christian leaders took it upon themselves to declare that the so-called old god of the “Old” Testament was no longer in control and had been replaced by some new god of the New Testament, they went directly against what Yeshua said in Matthew Chapter 5.
That’s right.
They made the claim that the God who never changes somehow changed in dramatic fashion.
They did away with the attribute of the Lord as a divine warrior king and replaced it with some pacifist god who would never hurt a fly.
In general, Christians have no idea or conveniently overlook the fact that the Messiah will be a Conquering Warrior who will slay millions in a Holy War to end all wars.
Since Deuteronomy Chapter 31 has led us directly to this topic, let’s take a look at a key section from the New Testament that portrays the returning Messiah as a Warrior King.
Read Revelations Chapter 14 by clicking right here.
Okay, there you have it.
Here we see God’s fury being poured out with His agents of death and destruction being the Lamb of God himself accompanied by his warrior angels.
We are shown the Lamb sweeping his sickle in a ferocious fashion and harvesting both the redeemed to eternal glory and the unredeemed to eternal damnation.
We are given a picture of the blood flowing at the hand of Messiah as high as a horse’s bridle in the Valley of Armageddon.
Now that’s a lot of blood folks!
So where in the heck is this pacifist God of the New Testament who only has love and forgiveness for all mankind, always turns the other cheek, and would never condemn anyone?
I’ll give you a hint.
Such a god doesn’t exist…in neither the “Old” Testament nor the New Testament.
Folks, don’t ever think any of the Lord’s attributes have been done away with.
They all remain fully intact.
Of course, “love” is a key attribute of God but it’s only one attribute of the many He possesses.
The avenging wrath of God is another key attribute we just can’t ignore because we find it unsavory.
We have to understand that depending on the scenario being portrayed in Scripture, one attribute may stand out more than the others and Revelations Chapter 14 is a perfect case in point.
To this point, I leave you with these words of wisdom from the Book of Ecclesiastes.
For everything there is a season
a right time for every intention under heaven —
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to throw stones and a time to gather stones,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to discard,
a time to tear and a time to sew,
a time to keep silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
Conclusion: The God we worship is comprised of many attributes and we are not at liberty to pick and choose which ones we will accept based on our own personal preferences.

You provide some great insights, that is wonderful. Yet you sometime throw in some lies or whoever’s lied or taught you some of these lies about Christian’s really messed you up. I am a Pentecostal Christian, and in our congregation, the Old testament is the foundation of our Faith. We Worship only One God, Jehovah, the Creator of Heavens and Earth, whom when we were sinners, have no hope of ever reconciling with Him, He sent his only Begotten Son, so that anyone who believes can receive grace. I really don’t know who gave you that idea of some god of the new statement and the separate one if the old testament.
