There’s a dangerous misconception among believers that will destroy their relationship with God if they don’t correct it quickly.
I’m talking about the idea that as time passes and we become more advanced as a civilization, the older ways no longer matter.
To be more specific, I’m referring to the notion that the “Old” Testament is no longer relevant to our lives and has been replaced by the New Testament…
That the horrible, avenging OT God has been replaced by a loving, merciful NT God.
Folks who harbor that belief are forgetting one thing.
While we might change, God never does.
He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
The same applies to his laws, principles, and patterns.
They are eternal and are NOT subject to change or negotiation.
That’s why I’m more than just a little bit annoyed when I hear both Jews and Christians criticize God for his instructions to commit genocide upon the Amalekites.
Or they consider God’s order to Joshua and the Israelites to drive out the non-Hebrew inhabitants from Canaan to be cruel and barbaric.
They hold to this ridiculous theology that says Yeshua decided to take another road and ignore the original decrees of His own Father.
This belief must be stopped…
Especially when Amalek’s descendants live on today.
What’s that you say?
You’re telling me you can’t remember the last time you bumped into an Amalekite at your local supermarket or wherever?
Well, listen up Buckwheat…
Amalek’s spirit lives on in the flesh of all those who oppose Israel.
This is an ugly reality a lot of believers don’t wanna face.
Let me repeat what I just said.
The spirit of Amalek is alive and well in all those who are against Israel and His Chosen people the Hebrews.
If you are anti-Semitic you are Amalek.
Period.
Listen, I’m not talking about having to side with every policy the Israeli government makes…
Or that you have to accept every tenet of Orthodox Judaism…
I’m not talking about some kind of blind or blanket approval of all things Jewish.
I’m talking about this crazy and irrational disease of the mind to wanna stand against Israel no matter what.
Kind of like those idiotic democratics who will vote for anyone as long as it ain’t Trump.
I’m talking about the belief that Israel deserves no more land than what the world decides they should have…
Or the denial of Israel’s eternal land inheritance.
I’d like to make this very clear.
If you believe that the land God set apart for His people no longer belongs to His people…
The spirit of Amalek possesses you.
Here’s another truth bomb and something you’re probably never gonna hear in any congregation…
Especially if they care more about being politically correct than holding to the truth of God’s Word.
Wanna know what the purpose of Armageddon is?
It is for Messiah to return and finally do what every Hebrew leader before him should’ve done but didn’t because they were handcuffed by some BS politically correct UN-defined sense of justice that opposes God and the clear mandates of Scripture.
Yeah, that was a mouthful but it had to be said.
Following the horrific October 7th attacks, many stand in sympathy with the Arab and Muslim world against Israel.
I’m telling you right now, the spirit of Amalek possesses them.
It doesn’t matter whether they’re faithful churchgoers who sincerely proclaim Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
It doesn’t even matter if they’re of Jewish descent.
All the Norman Finkelsteins of the world are of Amalek.
They are in direct opposition to God’s Will.
If you attend a house of worship that possesses even a hint of such an attitude, get out now while you can.
They have chosen to side with Amalek and as a result, are earmarked for destruction by the Almighty.
Done.
