I wanna kick things off today with a philosophical question.
Why does God use imperfect humans to achieve His perfect and holy Will?
One common but mistaken answer is “God uses men because that’s all He’s got.”
That ain’t true homies.
You’re forgetting the Lord has armies of Angels at His command.
Compared to frail and fragile humans, they are infinitely stronger than we are.
As far as I know, since they don’t have to defecate…
Nor do they fornicate…
From day one, they are cleaner and holier than we are.
And except for Satan, they’re more obedient than we are.
So we’re back at square one.
Why does God decide to use us humans to accomplish His Will?
For instance, why did He choose David?
Was it because he was more perfect than other men?
The answer is no.
Was it because he was more capable than other men?
The answer is no.
Was it because he was taller and more charismatic than other men?
Again, the answer is no.
So here’s the correct answer…
And pay attention because this applies to YOU as well.
God chose David because He knew David would ultimately choose Him.
Despite all of his failures…
Despite all of the blood on his hands…
Despite falling into sexual temptation that led to adultery…
At the end of the day…
After all of the dust had settled and cleared…
The Lord knew David would worship Him and Him alone.
God knew David wouldn’t turn to the gods of the surrounding nations.
After being knocked out, he knew David would pick himself off the floor and return to Him.
Whoever has ears, let them hear.

“Do you think I cannot call on my Father,
and he will at once put at my disposal
more than twelve legions of angels?”
