There’s one Scriptural principle that should be abundantly clear to you by now.
Ethnically speaking, God is NOT a racist.
But spiritually speaking, He IS a big-time racist.
For example, from a strictly earthly or ethnic perspective, in Samuel and Saul’s day, the Amalekites were simply viewed as the close physical descendants of Esau.
This makes perfect sense because Esau’s grandson Amalek became the leader of that nation of people who were present way back even during Abraham’s time.
So from a physical or political viewpoint, Amalek was seen as a threat pretty much on the same level as any other gentile enemy of Israel whether it was the Philistines, the Moabites, or the Ammonites.
But, from a spiritual perspective…
And as an established Biblical pattern…
Amalek represents all Gentiles who oppose the God of Israel and His chosen people.
In other words, with belief or not in Yeshua being the measuring rod…
God will view some Gentiles spiritually as part of Israel…
And He will view the remainder as spiritual Amalek or those who oppose Him.
Those who are grafted into Israel will be saved and those who are not will be eternally destroyed.
It’s really that simple and is actually the same message the Christian church has preached for centuries (their own warped version of it anyways).
This is really as basic as things get when it comes to explaining how God views the relationship between Gentiles and Israel and the difference between those who are eternally damned and those who are not.
This also reveals the true spiritual and prophetic identity of Amalek.
Are you with me here?
Let’s apply this principle to our modern times…
Specifically to those Arabs and Palestinians who hate and want to destroy Israel…
Ethnically speaking, are they Amalek?
Obviously, the answer is no.
The Arabs may be Gentiles, but their genealogy goes back to Ishmael (Isaac’s brother), NOT Esau.
And the ethnicity of the Palestinians is all over the freaking map.
Originally, their ancestry can be traced back to various historical periods, including ancient Canaanites, Philistines, and other groups who have inhabited the area over the centuries.
However, a good majority of them today are mainly Arab.
Let me remind you, that out of Noah’s three sons, the Arabs do come from the Godly line of Shem.
They don’t come from the cursed line of Ham.
However, and this is the point of this whole post, it’s not their ethnicity or race that matters from God’s perspective.
As Gentiles who have made the choice to oppose God and His people, they are sadly now counted as spiritual Amalekites.
But, on the opposite end of the spectrum, we have Yeshua-believing Arabs who live in Israel, who love Israel, and even right now, are fighting alongside Israel against Hamas.
Obviously, the Lord doesn’t view them as spiritual Amalekites.
He views them as part of “spiritual Israel”.
Actually, He might even view them as physical Israel since they are living in the Holy Land.
The bottom line is that all those who oppose God and Israel are counted as spiritual Amalekites and worthy of eternal destruction no matter what their race or what country they hold allegiance to.
Ya feel me?

“For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish,
