“Then Sh’mu’el took a flask of oil he had prepared and poured it on Sha’ul’s head. He kissed him and said, “Adonai has anointed you to be prince over his inheritance.”-1 Samuel 10:1
Wanna show you something interesting today.
In verse 1 of 1 Samuel Chapter 10, Samuel is informing Saul that he is authorizing him to be “prince” over God’s inheritance.
Now the word for “prince” here is NAGID…
And as I explained in a previous post, this word refers to a person who is a “king in waiting”.
It was a word used to refer to the already decided king even if he hadn’t assumed his throne yet.
Now here’s what’s interesting…
And pay close attention because this will shed light on the relationship Yeshua has with the Father.
From an ancient Middle Eastern perspective, a NAGID is the crown prince in the sense that he is the king’s son who will assume the throne once his father’s rulership has ended (normally at his death).
However, as with many other words in Scripture, this word can carry multiple meanings.
One other meaning of NAGID is that it simply means a representative of a higher authority.
Consider a captain of an army?
He represents the general.
But he is still subservient to the general.
In other words, the general is still greater than the captain…
Even if the two are in a sense one and the same.
The same thing goes with Saul.
Saul is supposed to represent God.
But he will still be subservient to God.
So God will always remain greater than Saul.
Now how about Yeshua?
The exact same principle applies homies.
Yeshua represents God’s authority here on earth.
“Yeshua came and told his disciples,
‘I have been given all authority
in heaven and on earth.'”
-Matthew 28:18
“I and the Father are one.”
-John 10:30
“Yeshua answered:
‘Don’t you know me, Philip,
even after I have been among
you such a long time?
Anyone who has seen me
has seen the Father.
How can you say,
‘Show us the Father’?”
-John 14:9
Yet Yeshua was still subservient to the Father.
“You heard me say,
‘I am going away and
I am coming back to you.’
If you loved me,
you would be glad that
I am going to the Father, for
the Father is greater than I.”
-John 14:28
“Yeshua gave them this answer:
‘Very truly I tell you,
the Son can do
nothing by himself;
he can do only what
he sees his Father doing,
because whatever
the Father does
the Son also does.'”
-John 5:19
“In his defense Yeshua said to them,
‘My Father is always at his work
to this very day, and I too am working.'”
-John 5:17
So we can see the Father was greater than Yeshua and was a separate being than Yeshua.
This is also evidenced by the fact that Yeshua is always said to be seated at the right hand of God…
And NOT that he’s literally God Himself in some ridiculous hypostatic union sense.
“After the Lord Yeshua
had spoken to them,
he was taken up into
heaven and he sat at
the right hand of God.”
-Mark 16:19
“God has raised this Yeshua to life,
and we are all witnesses of it.
Exalted to the right hand of God,
he has received from the Father
the promised Holy Spirit and
has poured out what you
now see and hear.”
-Acts 2:32-33
“Who then is the one who condemns?
No one. Messiah Yeshua who died—
more than that, who was raised to life
—is at the right hand of God and
is also interceding for us.”
-Romans 8:34
“He [God] raised Messiah from
the dead and seated him
at his right hand
in the heavenly realms.”
-Ephesians 1:20
Notice how in every one of the above verses, Yeshua is depicted as a SEPARATE BEING than God the Father.
The above verse from Acts is particularly telling.
It clearly says God, who again is a separate being from Yeshua, raised up Yeshua, not that Yeshua raised up himself.
I know trinitarians will object by pointing to this verse:
“Yeshua answered them,
‘Destroy this temple,
and in three days I will
raise it up again.”
The Judeans said,
“It took 46 years to build
this Temple, and you’re
going to raise it in
three days?’
But the “temple” he had
spoken of was his body.”
-John 2:19-20
Again, trinitarians are playing the “my verse is better than your verse” game.
And I don’t play that game.
I play the “all verses are valid and need to harmonize with each other or you can hit the highway homie” game.
Seriously, which makes more sense?
That Yeshua represented the authority of God as a separate being and that’s why he was able to “forgive sins” and say things like “I and the Father are one and the same”.
Or that God Himself morphed into a human being like how the Liquid Metal Terminator in the Terminator 2 movie morphed into other human beings and then started going around forgiving sins…
And when he started declaring “he who has seen me has seen the Father”, he meant it in a 100% literal and not metaphorical sense?
Seriously, which makes more sense?
I’m hoping you agree with the Biblically sound idea that Yeshua was given authority by the Father and was NOT literally the Father himself.
If not, then I know you’ve been smoking some serious trinitarian weed that has caused you to lose all of your logical thinking faculties.
Over and out homies.

TRINITY OR TRIUNE IS AN ABOMINABLE TRANSGRESSION OF INTERPOLATION AND OVERTAKING OFFENCE AGAINST THE “ENTITY” AND “SANCTITY” of IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER [ LORD GOD ALMIGHTY YAHWEH/JEHOVAH ] IN THE NAME OF THE SON [ YESHUA/JESUS WAS SANCTIFIED AND SENT BY GOD AND ANOINTED] AND IN THE NAME OF THE HOLY SPIRIT [ MEANS “POWER FROM ON HIGH YAHWEH/JEHOVAH, WHICH CONSISTS OF GOD’S AUTHORITY, DISPOSITION, WISDOM, INSPIRATION AND INFLUENCE ETC.]

Rich,
Great post, can’t get enough of it!
You quote the most-quoted OT scripture in the NT – Psalm 110 – which begins:
The LORD (Yahweh) says to my Lord (adoni):
“Sit at my right hand,
until I make your enemies your footstool.”
In Matthew 22 – the week leading up to his crucifixion – Jesus tells his enemies THIS Psalm can answer the riddle: “How can Messiah be David’s descendant, AND his Master?”
Here is the answer:
Just as David was the regent of King Yahweh on earth for Israel . . .
Yeshua is regent of King Yahweh in the heavens for all the universe!
BECAUSE He was slain, the lamb has become worthy to receive “blessing and honor and glory” but He is not YHWH, so he receives worship ONLY in conjunction with King YHWH receiving it (Rev. 5:11-14)
It is easy to see why the trinitarians get confused . . .the King and his regent are SO CLOSE!
In fact, King Yahweh’s regent stands “in the midst of” Yahweh’s throne – Revelation Rev. 5:6, 7:17
But at the end of all things, when even the last enemy -death- is placed under Jesus’ feet, he will turn the kingdom back over to his father, who will reign forever as king! (I Cor. 15:24-28)
And Jesus will be in subjugation to the Father.

You left out any verse that calls Jesus creator and eternal God that’s disingenuous at best.
